today's sermon was about NOAH! amazing huh. hahah... it was really... ministering to me cause its like, i've been thinking about Noah and all cause of that HUGE NICE rainbow on friday.
and it really hit me. noah had to take FOREVER to build that huge ark, made of cypress wood cause i mean. really. how in the world do you get SO MUCH WOOD! there wasn't IKEA then you know. [as mum puts it.] and then. he probably took a hundred years or so to build it. and for that hundred years, he must have been trying so hard to convert people. and its like... people wouldn't believe there would be a flood, would they? i mean. if i went around telling you a great fire would come and burn up all the people in the world, you probably would think i cracked or something.
so he would have been ridiculed, for that hundred or so years, while he was trying to build that huge infrastructure. i really do pity those people. wiped out in the huge flood, after the first ever rainfall. how sad eh? rain seems to be part and parcel of everyday life nowadays.
okay. enough about sermons.
i was reliving childhood a few days back. sesame street and all, cause of that lovely song. rainbow connection. which my sister was so addicted to. and apparently, cause she was blasting it around the house, printed chords and all, we all got it stuck in our heads too. and so i searched it on youtube, to try to get a picture of kermit the frog. and after the song, you know the related links stuff, and i was led to those 'somebody come and play' and 'its alright to cry' and 'its not easy being green' hahah. and i love sesame street! probably loads more than teletubbies. and i can so not believe i actually said teletubbies that time when the people interviewed me about my favourite television programme on TV12. [thats what mediacorp was known as. in the past.?] hahah. I LOVE SESAME STREET! hahah.
-runs off to soak in the sesame street theme song-
