got back chinese results yesterday. i failed with an E8, as expected... dont know if ill still be allowed in higher chinese next year. sighh. wouldnt matter much, would it? sighh. mum's been telling me to take chinese literature in JC... like... im in higher chinese now so that i dont have to take chinese in JC, and she's telling me to take chinese lit. please lah. not as if im going to make my future in china. sighh. learn chinese for what? not as if it helps in racial bonding in Singapore right? i really dont understand the bilingualism thing, cause well, different people learn different mother tongues, true though it may be that it helps with bonding within each race, it doesnt help much with multi-racial bonding. and well, Singapore has a multi-racial society.
well. enough about chinese. today was quite interesting! cause like we were the only batch in the whole school. secones and twos had elearning and secfours have SPA exam or something... so we went to the studio to watch Remember the Titans. some Disney show. and well, i found it familiar lah. i think i watched it somewhere else before. its about racism. blacks and whites and such. i dont think theres still that discrepency in today's society, right? the show was so touching, and yet so funny, and also brought out their point VERY clearly. im all for it (: its quite amazing huh, what people can do when they really want to. i teared abit, but xinyi was crying for quite long lah. anyway. cause we were the only batch in school, most of the canteen stalls werent open, and those which were open didnt have much food to offer, so we skipped recess and went to stone in the studio again, cause we were supposed to discuss about what we wanted for our secfour orientation next year. then after that we went back to class where our FMs were [supposedly] going to talk to us, but we ended up playing cards while huijie distributed the parent-teacher meeting form things. and it was quite amusing cause mry came to play with us. kinda disturbing, the way he cheats. hahah. quite interesting technique. i shall try the next time! anyway. im like on the first slot for the PTM thing cause im in the second half of the class [under mr y] and lizhe is a scholar. sighh. mum probably wont like the idea of talking to my teacher. i dont even know what he's going to talk about for like fifteen minutes. and the whole thing happens to be like minutes after my chinese olevel exam lahh.
i dont want to get back my report book. its something im just plain scared of.
ohyeah. tag replies.
gabriel uhh. rubriks cube is FUN! (: cause its challenging, and a marvelous way of being antisocial, and yet social at the same time. hahah. cause all you have to do is stare at the cube, and then people come crowding "eh you know how to do ahh! TEACH ME!" then you start explaining half way and then everyone goes. "so cheem!" and walks off.
kenny SADIST! hahah... no need to smash it open with a hammer... just twist it all around, then it becomes really shaky and loose like mine. then they touch one more time, the whole thing just snaps open. hahaha... mine hasnt snapped, but everyone who touches it gets scared. i want to try the 2X2X2 or 4X4X4 one! hahah... more challenging.
okay i think that ends my post for today. i shall do dedications another day, when im more bored than i am now.
