Life's been so happening, and i've hardly been able to find the time to get back here and do a nice post. But hey, the March Common Tests are finally over, and i get a short while to stop and relax a while before we head back into full swing of preparing for the A levels.
Since my last post, which was eons ago, lots of things have happened!
Well first off, we started our J2 year... Stress began to flood in and become a natural part of our lives. Everyone started panicking and being so much more serious about schoolwork, and that took a toll on CG 14/09's class outings. But hey, we're still an awesome bonded class and i still love all of my classmates! (: One huge difference i felt here was the start of being, well, lonely. Having dropped Economics to H1, i had to attend separate lectures and tutorials from the rest of my class ): But yeah, now i'm much more used to it already!
Then, the J1s started school, which meant ORIENTATION! This year i got to take part in orientation as an OGL! It's an entirely different experience altogether and i liked it. [oh, and i can also pretend to be popular when i wave at lotsa people as i walk around the school compound!] I've made lotsa new friends, with other OGLs as well as my awesome OG 14 OGMs! Though it got me a little pushed back when it came to schoolwork, it gave me confidence, which i think i totally do need.
Short while after, the J1s got to choose their PDPs, which meant, new band juniors! Unfortunately my section has no J1s ): but yeah, i made friends with juniors from other sections! They've just embarked on their stageband journey, and i'm kinda excited for them! My band life has also become more happening as i forge closer friendships with my batchmates (: I guess it's more of because 3 of our DSAs were from TKG and it helped me to bond with everyone else. We've been out studying together, going for concerts together, and we've even watched a movie as a big group!
When we hit the end of term 1, it meant studying really hard for the MCTs. Thankfully i had awesome friends to study with and help me to pull through.
And yeah, for the past four days, we've been having the March Common Tests. It's been tough, but at least its over now. I hope my results won't be all that bad.
Ah well, i'm just about to head out of the house to watch VJCSB's concert! Its been a long time since i last saw my VJ friends, and yeah, i guess today would be a good opportunity.
See you around, and i wont promise it'd be soon.
<3,
ting.
